Recognition That Endures
Engraved in the rotating outer ring are the names of individuals
honored for athletic excellence, academic distinction, years of
service, or dedication and sacrifice. The front (obverse) of each
medal features an image of a specific sport, a particular
moment of athletic triumph, or an image supporting a select field
of academic study, i.e. Medicine, Law, Engineering or Music.
This image can change every year to focus on themes that best
reflect that year’s honorees. The reverse side of the medal
features a bas-relief calendar of your University’s academic
year, normally beginning with the month of August. This
impressive calendar is a subtle reminder of the university’s
ongoing annual need for financial support. Most importantly, the
Ring of Honor says to all that this individual is a proud supporter
of your University. Each Ring of Honor can be mounted on
striking black acrylic with an engraved inscription plate or you
may choose the understated warmth of solid walnut.
